@captain_jack I thought it may have been stereo related as well, but I am almost certain that it was coming from the engine bay. I only muted the sound when I was listening for it on my drive to work this morning, but I'll try turning it off completely. If it were electronic related, would it make sense that the hum is there only when I'm on the throttle?
I've had this happen before with an aftermarket head unit. It turned out I had grounded the head unit poorly, so I found a new spot on the inside of the firewall and re-grounded it there. No more odd noises!

The hum only happening when you get on the throttle is most likely related to the alternator spinning up as the engine RPM increases.

It just happened yesterday, contacting them today.

Make sure the power wire is run down one side of the car and the rca's on the other. Check your amp ground too,
Make sure it's to bare metal. I grounded my amps to the rear coilover mount, just need to scrape off some paint to get a good ground.

So, I've had some back issues for about 20yrs. Well, I've recently discovered that I'm having even more back issues and I'm pin pointing it to the seats in Dory. The stock seats were not made for wide butts. I'm actually sitting on top of the bolsters. I need some seats with a more flat cushion.

Anyone have something for sale/trade?

Otherwise, I was looking at the Recaro Expert M or the Corbeau Sport Seat.
Any hook ups on seats?

That sucks man, I broke my back about 7 years ago and it gives me a lot of problems as well. Hope you find some seats that suit you. Can always have some padding taken out of the stock seats too.

I was thinking about that. I could trim down the bolsters to flatten the seat some more.

It would be nice to do the cushions exactly to fit. Make it great for a road trip for sure.
