No comparison speed wise to the FRS, but yet again cements my choice I love my car.

And I still think its fast
I think people should stop complaining about the power as this car has way more power than the original Corolla AE86

It's all relative. I'm used to sportsbikes so a GT-R didn't feel that fast to me.

In the end people love to hate on what they don't have. 200hp is plenty for the street and to have fun with.

I'm sure the GT-R feels fast to me. I've also heard it feels fat. I know that'd get to me.

I have no worries about my <3000 lbs FRS feeling fat . And if I do I guess Ill just have to go full race car.

Same here.

Funny story, I was talking to a previous AE86 owner about my car. He kept telling me congratulations, how awesome the car must be, etc.

Then he told me there's an AE86 version in japan with 200bhp.

My response was.... "REALLY? I want to drive that car!"

Exclamation

From Wiki:

Performance[edit]
Top speed: 145 mph (233 km/h)[24]
Acceleration:
0–62 mph (0–100 km/h): 7.6 s (Toyota, Motor Trend, claimed) [25]
0–60 mph (0–97 km/h): 6.0-6.2 s (BRZ, estimate) [26][27]
Standing 1/4 Mile: 14.7-14.9s[26]

Why does it show that the BRZ gets 0-60 at 6 seconds

You would think this is the same, then for the FR-s-GT86

As I was taught in school, wikipedia is not a cite-able source for credible reference. Sure it is generally fine but... you got a perfect example right there.

There are just way too many variables as this information was taken from different sources.

- different pavement
- different tires
- different elevation
- different fuel
- different driver
- different atmospheric conditions
- engine on one or the other not fully broken in, etc.

Even taking all of this out of the equation, you'll find that engines built to the same spec, along the same assembly line do not always conform 100% and some may generate slightly better or worse specific output numbers on the dyno. As a result, you may find a BRZ and a GT86 that run neck and neck under exactly the same conditions, and another two BRZs or two FR-S that are slightly quicker or slower.
