Yeah. $180~$190 isn’t cheap. It’s more than TRD/STI leather shift knob

@Tcoat

Calipers are now black.

Depending on how long you plan to take I'd make sure you have plenty of brushes. They gum up really fast.

Your calipers look good - IMHO calipers should be felt not seen.

"Gum up really fast"? What did you paint them with, old roofing tar -

Well, this quarantine program has gotten me super lazy.

Today, I ran my FR-S through a Brown Bear (tunnel type) car wash. Yes, I did.

From the inside, it felt like the car wash was going to tear the car apart, but nothing came off, yet.

Actually, it did a good job -

I agree, the standard calipers are ugly. I wouldn't have minded silver, just no flashy colors that bring attention to cheap Subaru calipers.

The por-15 paint feels like it. It has excellent coverage. My issue was that I took the caliper and bracket off to paint. I did the inside in the evening and then the outside the next morning.

That gap requires a new brush. I tried soap and water a few times but wouldn't come fully clean, and would make deeper brush marks compared to a cheap new brush.

Better shot to show the caliper, top hat, and vents at the top of the disk.

I ran mine through a similar type car wash for the first time (at least since I've owned it) a week or so ago. I was a tad anxious through the process, thinking something was either going to break or I would be left with scratches all over (not that it doesn't already have plenty).

But yeah, it came out fine. Probably better for it than the hand washes it gets with the terrible water at my house that leave water spots anywhere I can't dry.

What gasket did you use for your single exit delete?
