Still haven't crashed, despite the fact that the apparent goal of several other "drivers" today was to get me to do so.

Much as I don't want any wires cluttering up my dash, or anything even obscuring my view a little bit, I think a dashcam may be in my future. I'm aghast at the number of stupid, distracted, or discourteous things folks are doing at an inreasingly alarming rate. My luck or lightning-fast reflexes are going to run out at some point.

I am on the verge of purchasing a dashcam for that reason as well. And there have been many stories lately (maybe I'm just paying attention to them now since I'm interested in a dashcam) about how a dashcam has saved people from liability claims in accidents. I just know being a younger guy driving a sports car there are many people out there who would willingly point the finger at me for being at fault.

I've noticed people love tailgating me on this car, I'm going 10 past the speed limit and still have assholes on my tail. This didn't happened with my last car.
