Yes, ordered last year when they announced they were closing the order books for the ICE versions as they're moving over to EV platform. It arrived just before Christmas, picked it up in April. Went a bit crazy with options but wanted the best GTS.. I have posted photos in Sunday Top Trumps thread.

I still have my BRZEEEEE and the Integrale.. nice 3 car garage..

Hadn't checked the forum for about 2 weeks while we were in Florida running "Camp Grandma and Grandpa" for our two grandchildren between summer camps and school starting back up.

Shows how much things have slowed down, as there was less than a page of "New Posts" when I checked. In the heyday, being gone for two weeks would have taken forever if you wanted to catch up.

Yeah, forums are dying. A lot of younger generation prefer to use social media instead. Which often have hard time finding some good resources... but c'est la vie

Or, the site owners are getting a better return with fewer problems via the social media sites like Farcebook et al. I know several clubs that closed down their websites and forums to switch to Farcebook. Even with a huge drop in membership they still won’t go back to hosting their own sites.

There is about 3 FB groups Im in that I like. They are all over my head lol. Watching someone post updates on their home brew carbon wide body track build is pretty interesting. Or 3d printing a wing in section then wrapping it in carbon to make their own aero.

I don't have any social media accounts outside of these types of forums. I had a Facebook account for about a week when it first became available and quickly saw it was not for me. From casual observation, it hasn't gotten any better.

I deleted my LinkedIn account soon after retiring, as I had it for business purposes only (my employer "highly suggested all sr. management have one).

How anyone tolerates X in either of its iterations I have no idea. That's not a political statement, that's just I don't care for the extremes it carries. Nothing really useful.

If forums die, well, it's been a good run. I've used them in one form or another since the mid 80's when they were all BBS forums hosted on someone's home computer.

As I've mentioned on here before, I have season tickets to the Atlanta United MLS team.

It's not been a good season (actually couple of seasons) so f ar but I have to say they know how to treat fans. All season ticket holders just got a food credit for the remainder of the season as a 10 year celebration, and secretly an incentive to make sure we feel good going into season ticket renewal.

I have four seats so for the last 9 home games I received a $400 food credit!

This is for Mercedes Benz Stadium where the owner (Arthur Blank of Home Depot fame) insists on "fan friendly" pricing. You can eat a lot of $2 hot dogs, $3 hamburgers and $2 drinks with free refills for $400 even with 4 people.

This is the same pricing Blank told FIFA he would not change for the World Cup games.

Well here… RSL sold Gozo, while we’re in a quarter-final. He was a good young creative player, so we’ll def get hit w that. Not sure why owner had to sell him… actually I do know (due to European schedule), but still. It’s a big hit.

Thought about getting a season ticket, but how recent years RSL was performing, I couldn’t commit to buying 2 seats for a whole season. We only did 4 matches.

Just renewed mine for the upcoming mini-season (Feb-May) and the 2027-2028 regular season (July 2027 - May 2028). The mini-season is bridging the gap as MLS switches to a more international friendly schedule. Combining them together we got a reduced price on the mini-season.

Win or lose, we enjoy the games since its a chance for my 3 sons and I to get together on a regular basis. Well at least 3 of us. My 3rd son lives in Florida and works for a grocery store chain so he can only make a couple of games a season. The fourth seat then goes to "a player to be named later", usually the fiancee/girlfriend of my other two sons.

Soccer talk spawned me back to the forum I guess lol

Fate has kept me from being an MLS season ticket holder but I have been a USL STH for 9 years for Sacramento Republic. I don't believe anything with them until its done but they are supposed to get a dedicated stadium starting 2028. The current situation sucks as its a major event space that can hold 2-3 events outside of soccer with thousands of people. It took almost an hour to get into the parking lot from the freeway exit this last weekend and that was taking a backway as the freeway was a standstill for miles from the exit. Just hoping I dont get priced out from a big jump with the move, though jumping to the supporter section is an option. We are already one of the most expensive teams in terms of concession prices, tickets, etc.

Soccer atmosphere can't be beat though. I have a tendency to choose LA teams so been going to LAFC and Angel City games when they visit Norcal and a few times at home.

For my side rig, I got certified as a Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent. They recommended having my own LLC for liability. So I made my own LLC. Name? No, it's no Itchy Taco LLC.

I'm a little of both.

Saw a 2013 Firestorm FRS today. First time I've seen one of that color/year in probably 2 years. Still turns my head.
