The very forward part of the front section of the skirt will be molded. The normal transition from skirt to fender looks silly because of the drop off and because the skirt hangs lower than the lowest part of the inner front fender.

To fix the aforementioned... I'm going to add fiberglass to the inner front fender (pictured in previous post) to even it out and fiberglass filler to the drop off so the front of the skirt flows into the inner fender.

I'm hoping to get this done this week.

I made some more progress on the front section of my skirt...

It is now bonded and also I finished fiberglassing the short extention. Tomorrow I'll bondo the area and sand and shape it...

Just need to square it up once the fender is on and fill the pinholes before I spray it with some high build primer.

I have it almost ready for primer... Since taking these pics I've added some more filler...I just have to sand, shape, and fill in any pinholes...

Btw, I had to add some filler because when I reset the skirt section prior to bonding...the position changed slightly after I reinstalled the 2 spacers. Instead of effing with the alignment during the cure process I just used bondo.

I may have my passenger side front fender done and primered by Sunday. I just need to finish up with my driver side garnish before I bond my passenger side garnish. Reason for that is that I want to make sure both garnishes are as identical as possible.

Also, got a nice BF deal on some Valenti Sequential Tail lights. Clear lens with black housing... should look great with my Morimoto headlights.

I'm going to have to figure out how I will install a reverse light since my current reverse lights are in my tail lights. I have some ideas floating around in my head already.

Ok... the fender is placed but not secured in these pics...once bolted down everything does lines up. I have some minor things to square up but this part is almost done.

I did get around to bondo-ing the driver side garnish... I just have to primer it and check it against the passenger side one. Once all is good... I'll bond and mold the passenger side garnish to the fender.

Also, I fabricated the pictured garnish a short while ago. I finally got it bonded to the fender... I'll hopefully complete the molding process this week. I drew inspiration for the garnish from the Varis WB front fenders. Pics of completed fender coming soon.
