Kill la Kill is by the same writer as Gurren Lagaan and that was one of my favorite anime! So I decided to give Kill la Kill a try and....well its something unexpected, you get the same art style and the crazyness of gurren lagaan, it was alright the first few episodes but towards episode like 18+ it got so fricken good.

Saw The Wind Rises on Saturday during matinee pricing hours at a local theater. I normally do not like most Studio Ghibli films, but this is one of the few I really enjoy. Well done story with a very serious/adult theme. If you like the heavier, more tragic love stories, definitely check it out...

I will admit I got into it due to Sailor Moon back on USA Network...
Since then I have a few favorites and regulars. DBZ Kenshin Full Metal Alchemist (Including Brotherhood) EVA Kenichi Lost Universe Ranma 1/2 Trigun Solty Rei Magic Knight Rayearth I know there are others. I will even admit to making a few AMV's way back in the day (like 2004-2005)... when I have the time I enjoy it but lately I just buy them and they sit on the shelf. Hell I am forgetting half the ones I have sitting on the shelf at home.

It's about Gunpla building and battle. Still an enjoyable show. The Amazing Exia and Exia Dark Matter though.

I started getting into sports anime after watching kuroko no basket. Anybody that's interested in cycling should definitely check out yowamushi pedal. I got addicted and raced (no pun intended) through 18 episodes in a week. Finally caught up today and now gotta start waiting for new episode
My typical schedule is as follows: Monday: kuroko no basket Tuesday: Hajime no ippo Wed: One piece Thurs: Log Horizon Friday: Yowamushi pedal Then I also got to fit in Naruto, Toriko, and Hunter x Hunter 2011! Love my anime |
