Maybe the OP will know...I have asked CaFi via email and the responces have been...less than direct.
Say if I was planning on wiring hand controls into the steering wheel (I already have a thread where I was working on it for the stock head unit) but an android system has peaked my interest. Does anyone have an idea or proof of make/model/generic steering wheel controls that would work with this system? @SHIFTER Last edited by t.chk; 04-29-2014 at 07:41 PM. |

Ha, maybe you saw my post in one of those threads, the new WRX wheel looks identical to ours but with controls. Too bad new steering wheels are expensive, maybe if someone parts a new WRX out.....

If this unit is more universal than the stock HU then that is another reason to buy it. |

Just have to ask - lightning connector-equipped iOS devices will be compatible with this HU, right? Another thing I'd want to do is run a hidden USB cable from the back of the HU to the glovebox. I don't like having stuff in plain sight.
and if not, I can use a flash drive and run Spotify off of the HU? |

is there any way we can buy some kind of cd adapter to play cds? I would hide it in the glove compartment for a cleaner look.

Doubtful, even if a USB CD drive worked, you'd have to come up with a pretty slick mounting system to avoid skipping. Not worth the hassle. If a CD drive is a must then I'd recommend one of the other android head units that has one included.
