I dunno. I would just assume it would take a lot of little corrections from seeing another drones fly.

I'm guessing that drone isn't being flown manually. Most likely that's a programmed flight path, which aids in its smoothness, and then everybody knows the timings of when to throw their ball or go to the right spot so it'll fly under their legs, etc.

That is some extremely accurate positioning if automated. I don't think gps is going to get you inch perfect like that.

Hmm. I'm definitely not in the know on these types of drones. I wonder if they can be programmed to fly a path using gyrometers, accelerometers, and such and not fully rely on GPS.

Lol, the Prime delivery driver put my packages in front of my screendoor, standing against it, then knocked on it. So while he was still there I opened my door, which made the boxes crash to the floor, and he shrugged and started walking away.

Yes yes @humfrz I worry too much, but I had to tell the dude he could've just put them *next* to the door!!

I don't think an INS would really work for this either... I think the method is virtual stabilization of the video with a professional FPV pilot. But that's a SWAG...

lol, first i've heard of this. Been using high speed modems since the ISDN and then DSL days and never had them running off a UPS, just plugged into a cheap power strip. Never had one fail. Buying a UPS for one is a completely unnecessary overkill, imo.
