they already did that with scion. turns out, the old people are the ones with money that actually buy things.

You’re absolutely right. I forgot the first rule of car marketing: You can sell a young person’s car to an old person, but you can’t sell an old person’s car to a young person.

You've got a good point. Both have windshields which makes them basically identical. Can't believe I couldn't see it before.

Oh. You'll have to tell @Spuds that wasn't a Buick wagon he's been driving.

I figured out the difference but it was so so very hard to tell.

One is white and one is blue....

They're very well done clones of each other.

As good as they are I think those civics look like shit. I'll gladly drive a slower car that doesn't look like it was shit out by a transformer

Is it just these people taking pictures of it at 20cm up that make the car look so high? Specifications say it’s not a monster truck but all these pictures make it look riding high.

Has there been any actual news since the announcement, or are we still debating what vehicles the new BRZ resembles?

86 pages, that's right 86

(and 1200 posts)

The original concept had a Supra like door and fender. The side window too. I guess they didn't waste the design effort, they cannibalized it.

The original concept had a Supra-like door and fender. The side window too. I guess they didn't waste the design effort, they simply cannibalized it on to the Supra eight years later!!! The Supra also really bares little resemblance to it's concept. I guess some features that didn't make it to production might be in the updated Supra in a few years.
