Lol my DW fuel pump was causing my car to hiccup and stall when I was driving. We tought it was a problem with the downpipe being to close to the cam sensor and causing it to kill the engine under load. But it ended up just being a faulty DW65C fuel pump. If anyone is upgrading their fuel systems be vary cautious if you intend on buying one from DW, I wouldn't recommend it if you want to get it right the first time. Other then that I love this kit with the GTX2867R, this thing spools up so quick like at 3,300-3,600 depending on ambient temperature from what I've seen. Thumbs up!

Is this anything to worry about? My downpipe is really close to a plug.

We haven't had any issues with them whatsoever. With yours being coated that aids is keeping things even cooler. You can always add some gold foil or fire sleeve for piece of mind.

Thanks, I was thinking of adding gold tape or wrap that section of the downpipe to avoid any chance of melting.

Did you install the fuel pump? and if so, what did you use in regards to the o rings on the pump?

I've seen this a lot and its always an install error. Sounds like the problem here, seems that the stock plastic spacer and o rings weren't used correctly and was causing issues. I've had zero problems with my DW65c.

On the other hand, I just got finished up with Mike @moto-mike from Moto-East yesterday. I had originally took a ride down to him a few weeks ago but was limited to my clutch slipping. Made 400whp/315tq on e78 @14psi.

Update to yesterday - made 409/320~ on 14psi. Then we turned the boost up

Final Numbers: 442whp/346tq, e78 @16psi (I believe, or 17 can't recall right now )

This is all on a GTX2867R, DW 700cc injectors, DW65c FP, Grimmspeed EBCS, JDL 3" overpipe/midpipe combo - 2.5" ARK GRiP exhaust. Flex fuel, Omni 3 Bar map sensor.

Car is like a bat out of hell I will upload dyno charts later on.

Thanks! Probably could have gotten more out of it but at that point Mike stated i'd just be running over the efficiency of the turbo. It holds peak power pretty much until redline. Timing was in a good spot though he could have tweaked it to get more, but at that point I really didn't see the need to squeeze another 5-10hp out of it.

Everything was done in house by Evasive motorsports in Southern California, Turbo install by JDL Auto Design. It might have been an installation error/defected product, but I wouldn't know since I had them install it for me.
If you see both dynos with the old and new DW65C fuel pump, the first dyno with the one that had a problem had some torque spikes at Approx. 4,800 RPM and dropped like 15tq at 5,580 RPM and went back up at 6,500 RPM.

The new replacement DW65C has a beautiful linear hp curve, and doesn't fall off till 6,900 RPM.
The tq curve rises all the way up to 6,500 RPM then starts to fall off.

Car makes around 257hp/202tq at 9 psi(Low boost setting) on 91.
Car makes around 285hp/229tq at 11 psi(High boost setting) on 91.
Modifications: GTX2867R, DW65C, DW700cc injectors, JDL 3'' Down-Front pipe, Tomei 3" Cat back, Hondata 4 bar map sensor, Greddy Profec OLED Boost controller, and OS Giken Twin plate.

That's the final run in question from @xxscaxx

GTX turbos deliver. Turbo kit makes the power band optimal here.

The weird spike on the torque curve was a signal drop before anyone asks, lol
