2. Walmart*Health is the most pleasant physician experience I've ever had. The appointment started on time, the staff was pleasant and downright cheerful, and a full eye exam including mapping cost less than $100 out of pocket. (the first of Walmart's Health Clinics opened up about two years ago within 4 miles of my house. I'd heard good things so thought I would try it).
We've all been going to Wal-Mart vision for years. Best prices around.

I don't know how Costco Au compares to Warmart US but the local Costco sells glasses and hearing aids with corresponding testing for both. I saw the same or very similar hearing aids at Costco that my father used to use for a about a 1/4 of the price he paid at a "proper" hearing clinic.

My wife has used the Vision Center before, but I hadn't used it because, well until recently I didn't need it. This isn't the standard Vision Center though.

Walmart*Health is a little different than the in-store vision centers. This is an attached clinic that does Optometry, Primary Care Provider, Dentistry and Behavorial Health stuff. They have "up front" pricing so you know what it's going to cost.

They also have a Veterinary Clinic that is separate from the Health Clinic.

Well, I did get lunch at Subway afterwards, but I think this is the first time in a year I've been to Walmart.

Had my eyes tested and found that my eyesight has improved.. I put it down to not wearing glasses since the year of our COVID.. Only wearing them when I drive and as we all know I don't do much of that!!

Eating poorly, drinking, smoking, lack of exercise. You pretty much pay to have people nag you about what you should and should not do. You can get the same affect for free by mentioning a subject to anybody that quit doing any of those things on their own.
