SN Current Introduced in October 2010 for 2011 and older vehicles, designed to provide improved high temperature deposit protection for pistons, more stringent sludge control, and seal compatibility. API SN with Resource
Conserving matches ILSAC GF-5 by combining API SN performance with improved fuel economy, turbocharger protection, emission control system compatibility, and protection of engines operating on ethanol-containing
fuels up to E85.

I had my tuner, tr3performance.com flash my rom with this OFT tune.

I LIKE IT Looks like I now have an alcohol addiction

Car just pulls better and smoother and E-85 is $3.19/gal so 0.80 a gal cheaper..

What's not to love about this?

I only have 1800 miles on the car, still on the Factory oil... But I want to try E85 with this tune... Should I wait until my first change so I have a more compatible oil, or does it not matter that much? @shiv@vishnu

Hey steve, would you be able to supply a copy of the tune from the below log? I'd just like to compare the changes you've made to the original OFT one.

why not scale your own MAF?
It may be close but his scale would be his specific setup even if it's stock.

Oh I wasn't going to flash it, just wanted to compare the data. Steve's thread on the topic is good, but guess I'm bored at work and the most I can do is look at stuff

Thanks for not answering my question.

Is the motul 8100 0w20 "compatible" with e85? How about the eneos sustina 0w20?

+1 on what @s2d4 said i dont have a problem sharing the tune but each maf sensor is a bit different the only tabe changed for maf scaling is the maf volts vs flow table.

I did a Maf scaling thread that explains how to scale your own maf, just do it on petrol before you change to e85, thread will explain why

If oil is SN rated it should be E85 compatable , google SN oil rating and also check manufacturers data

On my third tank of e85, with the stg2 EL e85 tune, and right at 3k on the clock with the factory fill. Everything has been purring along great, and the car pulls harder than ever. I plan on an oil change in the next 1k miles, I think the factory fill is fine with e85, but don't run it out to 7500mi, or whenever the first change is recommended.
