It's my understanding that an expansion tank on a hot water heater can serve one or both of these purposes. It will take up the excess water (pressure) on the hot water plumbing system as the water is heated and expands and act to relieve pressure on systems that have a backflow check valve to prevent water from backing up into the main water source.

Wiki told me that.

I got the new backup light switch today. Just to make sure, I plugged it into the car and operated the switch by hand. Yep, turns on and off fine.

So I'll probably be without backup lights for a while. That switch looks real tough to get to.

Bought rivet tool. I needed for future mods, so it’ll be interesting to see how it turns out. Need to test em out on few thing, so I won’t mess it up on actual thing I wanna do.

Completely worth it. I have a pretty good sized one too.

Go buy a bunch of QUALITY 1/8" drill bits. I mean a bunch! If using larger it isn't so bad but still get good ones.
Practice, practice, practice.
Pop riveting is more of an art form that a mechanical action.

Well, those would be better to hold that new under panel on - rather that tape -

I love riveting metal together...

the underside of the outer wing of the airplane in my basement waiting for me to pop some domed rivets...

I wanted bigger size too... but I have to make it rivet in a very awkward area, so didn't want it too big.

Why do I need 1/8" drill bits?

Also yeah, my plan to practice much as I can. I'm planning to make most of em in M6. It came with few rivets, so using that to get used to it.

I've disconnected the wire harness under the seat for now. Apparently the heating elements are a known issue and as they burn out they cause grounding and some other odd effects. Going to see if that kills it, and if it does it will stay unplugged. I never use it anyway.
