So which ones do you recommend? Cusco seem plentiful. Is there a specific model that fits. It’s mentioned at the start of this thread that the STI fits as well. Doesn’t supply the model number though..

STI is suppose to be best but whatever you like. They are cosmetic with a little effect.

Here is Sti's sales pitch on their flexible bars. The tS BRZ models also include flexible V-braces.

I just went with the alloy Whiteline, but had it powder coated black. Plenty of room for the Harrop.
But as was pointed out above, the existing diagonal braces do the real work...and the strut brace is less significant (on the road at least).

Judging by the replies the Harrop doesn’t sit as high as I thought.I’ve settled for the basic Whiteline. If the effects are minimal I’m glad I spent as little as I did...

Still pending the CARB approval letter? I saw some posts about CARB saying the order is pending but no official document like which was released for Edelbrock kit.

I’m sure it is delayed even more NOW because of coronavirus. Which posts are you referring to because they have been pending CARB for years?

I added the Edelbrock coolant reservoir to my setup. I found that even though the fill plugs were topped off when I checked, there was still low coolant levels as I circulated the pump during this install. After adding a few cups worth of coolant, all the hoses felt much firmer. I'm sure there is still some air in the system, but considering the reservoir almost ran dry multiple times, I have to believe that this will be much better. I'm surprised it was this bad considering how many times I purged the system and topped off the fill plugs. Then again, I have custom coolant lines. By the temperature of the hoses, this setup seems to be circulating coolant much better.

The bracket and reservoir were solid pieces. I did file off the Edelbrock logo. My only complaint is the lid is the type where you over tighten it, and it jumps a thread and needs retightening, which leaves someone always feeling like it needs to be tighter. If it had a stronger locking cap and if it didn't purge air to the atmosphere, and instead, had a line I could 'T' into the existing coolant overflow reservoir then that would seem best. Overall, I am happy with the addition.

Very nicely done, looks great. The reservoir mod makes more sense to me now
Interested on why (and how) you decided to re-route your coolant hoses?

Strange that Harrop haven't included this in their kits. Seems like a no brainer. If you did self install you know how much coolant you used. I had Harrop install mine so hop its at the right level. A clear reservoir would make it simple. Must be a work around for us in Oz. Buying a Edelbrock one here would probably be impossible or impossibly expensive.

What size pipe is used?

It was aesthetics. I routed them under the supercharger to the back then they follow the same path as the Edelbrock kit. I also mounted the coolant pump next to my battery to better position the pump closer to the middle of the car. I don't know if the position of the pump or longer route of the lines is problematic, but in a closed fluid system, there shouldn't be any issue.

Harrop's routing is much more direct than mine or Edelbrock's, so maybe they figured it wasn't necessary, as there weren't any horizontal tubes in the system, so there is less chance that air is trapped in the line.

5/8 or 3/4. Whatever size is the piping that connects to the pump.

I called up Edelbrock and ordered it through them. I have no idea if they would ship internationally or what that would cost.

Looks slick! Does the top of this bottle sit above the plane of the top of the supercharger? Wouldn't you want that since air would collect at the highest cavity in the system? I thought about replacing the fill plugs with fittings that then connected to a reservoir up near the battery.

Your idea would be better, and yes, ideally it would be better to have it higher than any other part of the system, which would include the supercharger.

My setup is different than stock, so it makes more sense to add this into my setup than for everyone to do this. I have the top two bleed holes and this, and it made a difference.

Been thinking of doing similar but very difficult to get a fluid container that is identical to the Edelbrock. If you’ve found one that’s suitable would appreciate a link.
