Exclamation Seat belt chime delete?? Anyone

Guys i just swapped my stock seats with Status Ring GT-X. I had no problem switching over my seat belt buckle from my stock drivers seat to the status seat. I took the stock seat wire and transferred it over so the car has no problem reading that my seat belt is on. While trying to do this to my passenger seat i noticed that it has a seat belt + weight sensor attached to the seat belt buckle. I could not see a way to transfer it over to the status seat and now every time i drive the car it will beep for about 3 minutes and then shut up. Is there a way to disable the seat belt alarm? Im about to put in a roll bar and harnesses so my stock seat belts will be pretty much useless and i don't want to have that noise.

Please help thanks in advance.

I just had my dealer turn off the chime. They can access it through their computer. I still have the seat belt light come on in the dash, but no noise.

Low key, if you take out the instrument cluster, there should be a speaker you can literally pop off. At least that's how it was in my old corolla, I'll prolly check it out I'm the morning and let you guys know

They are wrong. TToyota scan tools offer the function for a reason. Tell them you carry a heavy bag and it constantly sets it off or something . Dealerships here in Nevada all do it at customer request.

I was playing around in my company car today. I just shoved a key into the buckle to make sure the lock mechanism was in place. It takes off the fasten seat belt icon on the guage. Might help? Haven't tried it on my BRZ yet

You can do it yourself.
With a cable and software called TECHSTREAM

Just for some info, but a lil research and you'll find what you need.
