Of course, by design. This is a "-1" winter setup here in New England, designed to optimize winter traction by decreasing the contact patch and increasing the lbs/in(squared).
I do a lot of winter driving in snow. They work great! I use 215/45-17 Michelin PS4's during the rest of the year and have much better traction than OEM. |

back on topic. we dont get snow here in southern california and it's a shame that so many can't experience that "winter wonderland" feeling for the holidays. so last year a group of my friends came together to put on a snow show of our own!
we were able to pull our resources together to purchase 3 snow "cannons"! I brought the Hakone out as well! people loved and couldnt get enough of it! you could say they were GREEN with envy muhahaha! |
