oil/grease in the right front wheel well?
2020 86 GT, with TRD springs, sway bar, exhaust.
I have some thick oil, possibly grease dripping onto the garage floor below the right front wheel well. Looking up at it (without jacking the car) I saw what looked to be some dirty oil on the control arm and what appears to be a spray of the same fluid on the wheel well itself. I wiped it off the control arm and so far haven't seen any more drip down in 2 days, but there's still the stuff on the wheel well (the 86 is not my daily driver). First thought was I ran through something. Second thought was maybe the CV boot is failing. But the car doesn't even have 2,000 miles on it yet. Any thoughts? Picture attached of the fluid on the floor of the garage. Tried taking a picture of the wheel well but didn't come out good. |

Well it's not going to be a CV since there isn't one in the front of a RWD car.
I would get that side of the car and pull the wheel off and have a peak around. Bet it is engine oil though, probably escaping from somewhere off the timing cover and running down the skid plate.

If its only 2k miles and a 2020, bring it back to the dealer for them to take care of under warranty.
