Atmospheric Pressure Sensor
Does anyone know where this is? When I log, I'm getting really low readings, like 74kpa and the car runs like crap. I wan't to try to replace it to see if it remedies the issue.
I'm on the Vortech kit.

If memory serve correctly, the USDM cars use the CPC sensor to monitor atmo pressure. If you've repurposed the CPC sensor in EcuTek then the atmo pressure is derived from the MAP sensor I believe.

If the atmospheric pressure is derived from the MAP, then that would mean I may have a faulty MAP if the atm pressure is off?

Are you sure there an atmospheric pressure sensor at all? I thought there is just the MAP in the inlet manifold.
The MAP also has inlet air temp and there is a outside air temp (but this only makes it as far as the dash - probably gets CAN'd across the the ECU from there). |

Also, the MAP does not have Intake Air Temp. That's on the MAF sensor.

I stand corrected. Thank you. I knew there was a reason the MAF was still installed but didn’t recall what it was (I have a speed density tune and the ariflow part of the MAF is no longer connected).

Where are these terminal blocks. I can' seem to find them and these instructions from Delicious Tuning don't give you much detail! |
