Not to let the cat out of the bag but this is a dog eat dog world. Since it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks we should just let sleeping dogs lie or we could just be barking up the wrong tree. When people get their claws out they sometimes show their bark is worse than their bite.

I'm almost positive I asked a while ago but it's probably a bunch of pages back. For any of you guys who drive with your dog in the back seat of your twin, do you use one of those hammock or divider thingies to keep them from wandering into the front with you? And if so, can you link it?

I tried one of the dividers today but it wouldn't work because it needed anchor points that I think our cars don't have at the bottom backsides of our front seats. Plus the middle console going to the back didn't help either.

I solved that by adopting dogs too big to fit between the seats and come in the front.

She doesn't rid much in the FRS, but does ride occasionally in the back of the Mustang and she just lays with her head on the console.

In our Suburban she actually prefers the 3rd row seat because she can lay down and go to sleep.

This is our previous Newfie, trying to decide if she will fit....

I've taken Haru on a lot more car rides but he still gets very anxious and tries to get in my lap to get out of the car (while buckled into the back). If buckled into the front he's even worse :\.

Last week I was driving on the freeway and he got so anxious in the back that he stood up on the middle console and basically pushed my right elbow while it was on the steering wheel, which made me swerve a little (fortunately not dangerously, but it was still a scary moment). Trying to figure out a good way to keep him from doing that again.
