Very true!! The 86 is way too quiet stock. I’m hoping it will sound better after I remove the “sound tube” on the intake, and put on a catback exhaust. I’m thinking the Perrin or Takeda intake tube and a K&N panel filter will be first.

The new Subaru global platform is specifically designed for electric/hybrid tech and is completely scalable in size. It could be done. I don't think it will but it is totally feasible.
Leads right back to my often repeated comment of "When does it stop being an 86/BRZ in anything but name" though.

Ahhh ok, then it might be easier than I thought. But yeah it most likely won’t happen, for the 86 anyway. I would prefer they refine the current 86. Possibly use the new Subaru global chassis, or the TNG platform. I’m not sure if TNG is set up for RWD though. A stiffer and lighter chassis, a little more power, and the 86/BRZ would be reborn.

Contrary to what the clickbaits would have you think you will never ever see them use a TNG platform or Toyota engine. It is just not feasible based upon the current manufacturing agreement. If they ever did make such a car it would be strictly Toyota (Celica?) and not a next gen 86. If they wanted to go that route they would not keep teaming up with other manufacturers for their sports cars.

I can't find a better sub to post this in so maybe someone here can help me, what kit is this? The filter doesn't look like it came with the kit, but anyone who can help me figure out what supercharger kit this is would be greatly appreciated

Performed key surgery. My fob snapped the inner plastic holding the key in place. Bought an $8 eBay shell with a blank molded in, had Home Depot cut it for free, and swapped the electronics/chip over to the new shell.

While that’s a great looking diffuser, those are even better fishnets. I want to see more of the girlfriend!
