BRZ beach key solutions?
Hey all, just wondering if anybody surfs and what you do with your key while you're in the water.
Bodyboarding was my only form of exercise and now I haven't been able to go since I got the BRZ ![]() |

Do you have a limited? You might be able to pop the metal key out of the fob, lock the fob in the car, and wear the metal key around your wrist. I don't know if the car will allow the fob to be locked inside though.

Yeah it's a limited. Hmm i'll try that out as soon as I get home. I feel like the doors might still open since the fob is in range even in the trunk.

If someone breaks into the car they can drive away with it. But if you lock the fob in the car using the key it will stay locked until you unlock it with the key.

So wrap it up in tinfoil or put the key in some lead-box in the trunk? |

Lock the fob in the trunk if they key isn't in it, it has no way to connect to the car so it won't be able to unlock the car

If you hit the lock button on the door with the key in the glove box it should work. that is what I did.

Used to have a shat-ton of ALOKSAK bags. If I find one you're more than welcome to have it. Or Amazon them.

I surf every day. Fob goes in gas tank, metal key goes in wetsuit.
Come back to car- open with metal key & pop gas tank release. It's a pain, I know. |

The above works because it's far enough outside the bubble.
