It was just one question. Which wasn't answered. So I asked it again.
Why did I ask? To learn what happened and prevent this from happening to me or others.

Cars left in trailers get stolen WITH the trailer all the time. Our cars have an immobilizer which makes it harder to steal/start and drive away.

People don't buy insurance for a race car that isn't driven on the street.

And unless it was parked inside some gates(unlikely), it probably won't be covered by business insurance as they usually don't cover an unsecure parking lot.
