There's a place in Scottsdale, Hopdaddy's, that uses all locally farmed ingredients and is high quality, shy of using Kobe beef.
They would make John Catucci proud (if you happen to get You Should Eat Here on TV where you live). To me, In N Out is what McD's would be like if they applied 50's values and methodologies. It helps that I don't tire of it since it's not here.

I'm in on the local mom and pop places. We try to do road trips on "Blue Highways." A few years ago driving up the Natchez Trace Pkwy we stopped at a place in Tupelo called the Traceway café (or restaurant). Really good burgers and really interesting people. Earlier in that trip we were in Alexandria LA and decided to look for crawfish. Didn't find 'em but we stumbled onto a little place called "Pamela's Bayou in a Bowl." It turned out to be a soul food place with great everything. A young guy (8 0r 9) was admiring the BRZ so I let him sit in the drivers seat for a bit. Very cool. You just don't get that at Denny's. Also - a shout out to anybody who knows anyone at "Traceway" or "pamela's."
They're a little up the cost spectrum from I-n-O, 5 dudes, and Whataburger, but Wall Bangers is high on my list followed by a local outfit called Tower Burger.

I've always said if terrorists were serious they don't need to blow anyone up, all they need to do is deliver some doughnuts laced with their material of choice to break rooms. People never question food left in a break room.

Let's be honest here, those who refuse to get the vaccine, or claim they are waiting on proof of reliability are just plain stupid. Change my mind.
