Another cold start question…
Hi All,
I just had an Edelbrock SC installed and love the tune (tuner is well versed with Subaru), but I’m worried the cold start rpm is too high and maybe causing wear during the first 30-45 seconds; about 2.4k RPM

Just get tuner to drop cold idle to 1800 no idea why you would need it to rev that high on cold start generally i use 1200 rpm max idle

Is this safe? The cold start is about 30-40 seconds. More just annoying right now

It's fine. The cold start is just to heat up the cats. With your catless header you need at most 1200rpm on start. One hack I did prior to the OFT cold start delete was to put the car into gear and move it back and forth upon start. That would disable the cold start.
