Even started a thread here but no responses.

All other functions are fine, even the remaining time, it's just the expected arrival time that is off (so I'm guessing the current time is off but it doesn't display that).

ARGHH!!!

Not on the GPS unit, obviously I can set the one on the console, but GPS units pick their time up from the satellites, you don't normally manually enter it. That's why, when you go between time zones, it automatically changes based on position.

I did look for a place for time zone or to manually enter the time but didn't see one. Need to look at the manual I guess just to be sure.

Is the unit showing your current location correctly? If it is, then the source times should all be right.

Yep, location is spot on. I've used it for 400 mile trips since this started. Location data and time to arrival is all correct, it's just the estimated time of arrival that is wrong.

Yeah, your unit is messed up then. Might not be handling the gps time reset correctly? It was last year, but maybe it has reverted to a prior time.... Wait... It could be resetting it's internal time and booting to some default clock, thus not knowing that the GPS reset has occurred.

Yea could be. I'm going to pull the power and see what happens. Might also drive across a time zone to see if that does anything (I'm 20 minutes from Central time when at work). In the end, it's not a big deal since it still is technically accurate, just aggrevating.

The HU in the wife's Impreza did that all the time. Be fine when you shut the car off and next time you used the GPS it would be a 16 hour trip around the block. Location was always perfect with just the time messed up. They were on something like system update #5 when she traded it in and it still screwed up at random times.

Just put tape over where the estimated arrival time is

Actually, I do the electronic version of that. I touch it switch it to time remaining instead of arrival time.

Did it still show the HH:MM to arrive correctly though? That's what mine does.

Not sure on "easier" part. It's v12 twin turbo and by any mean, under the hood isn't big.
