Interesting that on this new chassis they are now recommending to run the flexible tower bar along with the flexible v-bars, whereas for our older chassis they don't recommend running them both together due to slight vibration.

Maybe this is because the new chassis has reinforcements done to the area around the towers to allow this. Also notice how the flexible v-bars and draw stiffeners are now certified for warranty on the new chassis.

This new car is looking better everyday.

The new Series.Yellow, meanwhile, will hit dealers in January and, not surprisingly, adds a host of yellow styling updates inside and out.
Wonder if this is good information or them being lazy and equating early 2017 as January..

One thing that has bothered me about the Series.Yellow is why Subaru made everything yellow except the Brembos. I get they are probably off the shelf parts, but they went thru the trouble of putting yellow stitching throughout. Tacky... Maybe, but go all the way with it.

I believe they will show up alittle before the PP cars or at the same time. It's hard to tell their arrivals because dealers don't really order special cars they just get it unless a customer goes and order it.

This is what I have been led to believe.

The door handles are what really sets it overboard.

That is how it works here. They are all allotted to the dealers so they can not order them. Even if a customer wants one they can not order more than their allotment. If they are allotted less than they have orders forthen they can only transfer from a dealer that has one (if another dealer will). This was the situation with the RS1 here since they had 4 orders and only two allotted.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is this yellow similar to the RS1 yellow? Is it a flat yellow or is there some pearl in it? I'm not privy to any paint codes.

It's less orange and more yellow, I don't recall seeing a lot of flakes in it. If you go to YouTube my videos of it should show up if you search. And they are a couple of close shots of the car. Turn HD on 1.59 mins is the close up.

Nice video. It's a very nice color and it looks sexy on the BRZ. Not sure it's a color I could live with on a daily basis though.

From what I have been able to tell from photos, it appears to be lighter shade of yellow. More similar in shade to BMW's Dakar Yellow than the bright yellow you see on modern Camaros and Mustangs.

I realize it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think its quite attractive. The black accents go nicely as well.

Regardless though, thanks for the info. That is interesting that you cannot order one. I guess I will have to wait till they arrive on dealer lots. My original game plan was to hopefully test drive a normal PP version of the car and then place an order for the Series.Yellow if I enjoyed the drive. But looks like I might have to change that game plan a bit, especially if the Series.Yellow show up before the regular PP models.

Does anyone know how most Subaru dealers treat these "special" models? If it shows up before the regular PP models, will most dealers be picky about letting you drive it since its a "Limited Production Model"?

I'm hoping not since it's a still just a BRZ at the end of the day, but you never know with some car dealers.

I doubt the car dealer will let you test drive a special edition model especially if they can only bring in one or two units.

When the BRZ first came out you couldn't even test drive those since stock was so scarce, only Scion had demos readily available.
