Shifter rebuild kit?

I've noticed that mx-5 and s2000 owners often go for a "shifter rebuild kit" to fix their shifter, usually to fix slop or play that developed after a clutch install. The kits often come with all the necessary OEM bushings and grease to rebuild the shifter properly.

I was wondering if there was going to be a kit available like this for sale from any of the parts retailers here?

Bump. I'm still on the look for parts to fix my shifter. Going to try and replace the parts similar to this video, which are the pivot point, pivot ball, spring, and grease:

Here's my problem now, I can't find an online OEM parts store that gives me a complete list of shifter parts. They used to be available but not any more.

Anybody help?

Hi @humfrz , my shifter has 1" of horizontal play in every gear after a new clutch install. It's been like this for a couple years really and I've never found a solution to fix it.

My dealership isn't super helpful over the phone. Last time I called a dealership we fudged around on the phone for 20 minutes just to find drain and crush washers, and when he asked me if I'd need them for my center differential I decided I'd be better off asking elsewhere.

Looking for a direct answer thanks. Parts numbers, where to buy, what to look for thanks.

The white "bushing" that goes around the ball isn't purchasable separately as far as I can see. You could always clean and re-grease it.
The bushings that attach to the bottom of the shifter are 35025CA000.
