Extended wheel studs shop suggestions
I'll feeling lazy and don't want to bother installing extended wheel studs myself. Has any of you have done it? If so, do you have suggestions on shops and cost?
Thanks

Any tire shop can do it. It's not rocket science. It's like $80-100. Tops.
It's simple if you have the right tools. Press out the old ones press in the new ones. The rears are a bit more work, cause of the brake shoes. YouTube it, if you want to learn.

I'm pretty sure installing studs is simpler than some of the things I do to my car. I just didn't want to deal with it. I'm also looking for personal experiences within the GTA because I got quoted $500 without the stud cost.

Holy shit $500 for that?
Your better off asking @Tcoat for help. Just remember to use condoms. I believe that's the only payment he would take.

On a Canadian car that has seen a few winters, it's almost a guarantee that the rear hubs are going to be a big battle to get off. Alex, did you try iGarage? That's the only place I know of in the Markham area.

Two thumbs up from me! for iGarage, more that happy with any work they have done for me. They were easily less than other shops on my header installation.

This is exactly what I'm afraid of, lol. I really don't want to spend my own time trying to get the rear hub off. The rust battle is real

It's nice to see a shop that charges fair prices to car nutz for basic wrenching. |
