Yes. Also if you have an Automatic the Flash Editor will not work for it. You will have to get a custom tune

Hey guys. Since HKS USA is no longer functioning as it was we are more than happy to provide assistance where we can for the HKS Supercharger. As Jax mentioned we are an HKS Pro Dealer and I am in direct contact with HKS Japan. Feel free to call me at (208)887-3738. - Brian (BK Industries)

Ok... so my source tells me that HKS is in a restructuring phase and that HKS Japan will be stepping in sometime in the future. They will be establishing an office in the US that will support their products.

Looks like HKS Japan or a HKS Pro Dealer are the only options at the moment.

Btw, props to Brian at BK Industries for stepping up!

As long as HKS still supports I will be looking forward to buy this supercharger myself as well.

This is correct about HKS. I am happy to help any way I can during the transition. I am in contact with HKS Japan directly so hit me up if there are any of you that have questions or need help such as tune revisions for newer cars.

No worries at all Nick! Glad I could help out! I am one of the first to have the V3 and I love it. So the last thing I want to see is someone not being able to enjoy theirs.

Thank you so much For helping Nick and I Brian. I would also like to buy you a beer via PayPal. I also left you a Facebook review as I figured it would be the least I could do.

I do have one another quick question, do you have any idea what headers are safe to run with the 91 tune? If I purchased the HKS EL header would any further tuning need to be done or is that safe on the current tune? Also looking to add an ssqv with an adapter later on if possible.

*edit*

Looking at the sheet the el header should be compatible with the tune. Just wondering about BOV upgrades. Trying to add a little more character for fun.

This thing is absolutely amazing BTW. I'm loving every second of it. My commutes are 90% highway and it's really a night and day difference.

This kit kicks ass I have had the v3 since last year and it's been reliable and I'm making 298whp and 243fttq it is very easy to install and everything fits like a glove! I had only 1 issue and it was my belt wearing a little faster but I ordered a new gates belt and should be good 😊

Glad to hear about the reliability. That was the one thing I was scared of since this is my daily. The boost bug bit way too hard though! After driving it with this kit I don't know how I got by without it. It's that good.

I'm just glad HKS USA is finally out again. They had maybe one helpful staff member and usually it was too little too late. Absolutely embarrassing representation of the HKS brand -- and basically undermining their own dealers.

i have a 100mm pulley and a 95mm pulley for sale on facebook if anyone is interested. i have a v2 kit now with a 90mm pulley and the 5 bolt pulleys aren't interchangeable. the 95mm pulley was never used and the 100mm pulley has approx 5,000 miles on it.

car runs great now and i hope to get dyno numbers for you guys eventually.

fully built motor on e85 with an unrestricted v2 kit has tons of balls. kept up with a 450+ whp turbo 86 my buddy built. and i did an 8.7 in the 8th mils a few weeks ago for fun. no traction...

HKS USA treated me well with my issues i had on my original v1 kit. it was an unfortunate deal with me but they handled it professionally and relatively quickly.

Thanks again Tory!
