OFT & E85
Just 3 days ago I was finally able to get my hands on an OFT and the only thing I can say about it is.. What an amazing device! By far the best mod I have done to the car!
For roughly 2 days I ran the OTS Stage 1 tune on my car and the car altogether felt better. The car didn't seem to want to idle hunt and I did notice an increase in intake noise as well. Not to mention all of the very helpful gauges that are included. It makes it possible to keep an eye out on what your engine/ecu is doing and anything I should be looking for. I also got to check out the launch control function of the OFT which was very cool, even though I think it's set a little high.. around 5-5.5k rpms can't remember.. anyway when I tried it out I noticed quite a bit of wheelspin. Maybe I can edit it to tone it down to a possible 4-4.5k rpm launch. Yesterday I was able to fill the car up with E85 and it was more than $1 cheaper per gallon than the 91 at that station which is a plus! I flashed over to the OFT's Stage 2 EL E85 tune and been logging and keeping a close eye on my LTFT and AFR as well as my Advance Multiplier to see if the car is running smooth. So far so good even though today was my first "cold start" on E85 and it was a little hesitant at first but then started right up. I've also noticed that the cold start seems quieter while on E85 which for me is also a plus. I haven't been able to really get on it quite yet on E85 but hoping within the next day or so I can. I have just been really careful with monitoring everything first and letting the ECU adapt to the E85 mixture. All in all, like I said, best mod for the car so far and I HIGHLY recommend it!

Was undecided for awhile.. then I found out the closest ECUTek tuner was about an hour away from me and Shiv literally lives right up the street from me lol

Gotcha. I guess that changes things. Shiv is impossible to catch... but if he lives close to you, you have more chance of catching him lol

I also like the ability to monitor what the ECU is doing with the data screen that the OFT offers.

Good choice, I also got the OFT this week and tuned to stage 1. Car feels so much better in all ways haha.
I am really tempted now to get a header now...>__<

dude that's awesome! And funny too because 2 days ago I just switched over to E-85 and yeah it was $1 cheaper than 91. Good stuff, the car has been running great! That extra power is actually noticeable. And I agree, it does seem much quieter on the E85 tune. The car also smells like vegetable oil sometimes lol.

I have not yet, I've been meaning to, to see if it'll fix my sloppy shifter feel

I have a Raceseng shift knob and that itself has made a massive difference in shift engagement. Definitely much more quick and precise
