3rd brake light rattle easy fix
Every time I turned up my boom booms it made my 3rd light rattle like crazy so I found a quick and easy fix. Credit to gramicci101 for the idea.
All I did was take a thick and dense sponge and slice it to about 1/2" thick with a straight razor. Tried to super glue it in place and found out the material the sponge is made of doesn't react to well to super glue so I threw some elmers on it. Took about 15 min including dry time for the glue. No more rattle! In the 2nd pic you can see that the housing doesn't want to close completely, fortunately you can't tell from the outside with stock tint, and who the hell is gonna look at the bottom of my 3rd light?

How's the fix holding up? There's glue similar to super (Krazy) Glue that doesn't dissolve foam (RC guys use it for the foam plane/quadricopter bodies).
