Finished detailing my car and decided to take a short drive. Forgot that my iPhone 5 was on the back of my BRZ on the spoiler. Took off out of my neighborhood on to 1826 and then to 45 on my way to MOPAC. Saw a modded STi on 45 and we got next to each other admiring each others cars and giving the thumbs up at around 70mph. Took the turn onto MOPAC and my phone flew off (50+mph). STi driver saw this and pulled over to recover the phone. I was enjoying the drive and didn't realize what I had done until I returned home. I feared the worst, not knowing that the STi driver had recovered the phone. I put my phone in lost mode with my wife's number as the contact. This samaritan immediately called my wife and let her know where I could go retrieve my phone. I met up with him to give gratitude and some cash for the effort. He refused to take any money from me and let me know that his recovering the phone had nothing to do with money and that he was simply paying it forward. Had to share this story.

So I stumbled upon a really cool Subaru club a couple weekends ago during an autocross event. "Bat City Subies", here is the link to their facebook page. If you request to join, one of the admins will ask if you are local and drive a Subaru. From what I have seen in my two weeks as a member is that they are very active and they help each other out a lot.
