Has a nicely made scoop as part of the package🙂

Water meth injection will keep IAT down a lot which will help all temps from snowballing.

Also you can add a couple small nozzles to spray onto your radiator, intercooler, and/or oil cooler/s.

Once you have the sandwich plate installed, would you mind showing pics of it? I'm interested in how you have coolers hooked up to run them in parallel.

Because most of my temp issues are specific to revs vs road speed, part of the plan was to add fans (when I could find the right ones), so today it all came together.
3 x very slim (25mm) 80mm fans, allowing room under the "scoop" for good(ish) flow, but more importantly now a reasonable amount of forced airflow at very low speeds.

This is the plate, its a GReddy (filter relocation) plate Type E.
Its perfect for this because it has 2 x dual full size outlets, both regulated by a thermostat.

Curious what fans are those? are they at least IP67?

I have posted 80x25 IP67 fans before with 44.3CFM,
this is what I use

Yeah these are IP68, 55 CFM, @4500rpm.
I'll be interested to see how they last.
Got them from an old school specialist electrics/solar shop here.

dang, even fancier, you have a link?
assuming they dont cost an arm and a leg, then If I ever need to replace mine I will switch to those.

IP68 should be practically bullet proof.
IP67 is already plenty enough for this application, people use on sand buggies and off road vehicles all the time even.

Ah, okay. This is much simpler than I was thinking. Seeing the images, I now realize my Jackson Racing Dual Radiator/Oil Cooler sandwich plate might actually let me run a dedicated cooler as well. It comes with plugs to block the bottom in/out ports that I installed. I'll have to check if the thermostat regulates both sets of ports. Thanks for the pics!

The reason you cut the splash guard lip also makes sense now.

This is the fan, with a link to the local seller, but I guess it should be available all over the place, and not too expensive.

well aside from the price of the ones I got being dirt cheap, which at 4x or 8x in my case which I guess adds up. Didn't realize how many options where available.

https://www.mouser.com/c/thermal-man...rt=airflow%7C1

almost the same as yours, https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...0U-AE9/5285626 but 60cfm.

if you go to 24v can get 140CFM or 35mm depth you can get 80CFM

now you got me looking at upgrading, just when i thought I could take a break from modding for a little bit lol.

FYI: The Jackson sandwich plate for the dual rad is not thermostatic.
