Thanks for thread none less. Ordered one from Nigel as he ships international and I won't need an adapter etc then either. I don't mind the extra cabbage spent to get what works for me.

I agree, looks really nice from the pictures. Has anyone else used the adapter and Brandmotion mirror?

I have both in my FRS. Ordered from Amazon a few months ago. Total was less than sixty bucks at the time. I think it looks great and I don't notice the "bulk" of the adapter at all. Save yourself some money. Just order it.

couldnt you use the auto dimming mirror adapter?

subaru part number H501SSA040

which i believe is the exact same as

gentex part# 0-901160M

http://www.brandsport.com/sub-h501ss...FQ6k4Aod-ykABw here for $11 plus free shipping would bring the total cost to $46

Can anyone confirm this is the frameless? I checked at the dealership and they said they it only shows up as rearview mirror in the database. Thanks for posting though!

Sorry, I'm a bit confused as to what the Amazon bit is then - what would I need to replace a standard mirror on my BRZ? Same as if I were to do it on the FR-S? Help!

I found the frameless rearview mirror with audo dim, homelink control
and compass.

Did some people ever try these rearview mirrors?

Did I need additional adapter? (I currently use OEM auto dim rearview
mirror).

Thanks.

Hope this helps!
