https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...g+hanger,13610 my dad's '96 needed both sides replaced, my '02 needed the passenger side replaced as soon as i got it. somewhat of a pain, took most of a saturday to grind the one mount off, but doable with normal power tools. Quote:
i picked up a flux-cored welder on a whim from harbor freight-- always wanted to get into it. MIG/TIG is more usable though with a higher quality finish. i learned this after i got it. it's a bottomless pit of accessories and parts though. you were warned. i wasn't. yea, but not stocked by newegg, stocked by a bunch of rando's that will ship whenever they feel like it. it's like amazon without the amazon part.

I wish I had space for a welder. Starting to think we will need a 400a service before long. Kinda bummed. But car chargers and 2 hvac and everything just keeps demanding more and more.

i rebuilt a $40 harbor freight service cart with $150 worth of steel and pneumatic casters just because i could. it's dangerous to have this kind of capability just laying around. it all started because the included casters didn't work on rough surfaces. then the cheap stamped steel was too thin for the big pneumatic casters to bolt to without folding up on itself. enter 1/8" plate steel, and a few weekends.
