Mud guards in both rear wheel wells make the same tapping sound as in the video. If this is it, when I'm on the highway why do I only hear the sound from the rear passenger side?

I took that rear wheel well to be checked up on but there is nowhere for clips to hold onto as the plastic is a cut out - not a hole for a nut and bolt

while cleaning the rear window today, i noticed the passenger seat back has a rattle when pressed against. seatbacks were fully locked on both sides, but only the passenger side had some kind of rattle while the driver side did not. probably need 2 people to find the source, one to hold down certain parts of the passenger side seatback while the other pushes/bangs from inside?

I have this wind noise/slapping sound on both sides of my car. My sound has been the same with and without the rear mud guards which tells me the rear part of the wheel well may not be the issue. I know with the rear seat down the sound is louder...for my situation anyways.

I have the same sound after putting my Invidia N1 catback on. When I get to about 3500 or so, there's a rattle in the back to my right.

Reached back (definitely not safe) and put a hand on the Third Brake Light, and it went away. Gonna do some padding or something to see if it reduces that sound.

Try it and report back to those having a rattle in this thread.

I heard a tapping sound one day from the passenger seat going around 50-60 on the HWY. Forgot I had picked up a G-Code RTI adapter for my pistol that day and that is what was tapping. False alarm. I need to keep out of these threads until I hear tapping or I am going to be hunting for the taps when I drive haha.

I looked underneath the car and I don't see anything loose.
This sounds a lot like the rear fender liner issue I had. Check post #2 in this thread...

I think I got this too. At speeds above 70mph. I too have mug guards, but it does very little to secure the fender liner. Gonna start with that one.

Have this issue on driver's side rear fender.. I see there are holes on the rear fender liners but no plastic washers on both sides.. is it suppose to be like this?

This thread hasn't been commented on in a long time, but I replaced all my fender liner screw washers with these: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AYCLB70?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_ detailpage"]Amazon.com: 15 Subaru Bumper Engine Cover Fender And Grille Clips 90914-0007: Automotive[/ame]

and put the extras over there because they don't have anything in them from the factory
