Suspension seems great, really tight. It's just that The Z51 pieces are a pretty good bump up in both suspension and braking. I have both on my current car and like the tightness and stopping power. The Z51 option from GM is $6300 but adds more than just suspension and brakes. I can get away for about 1/2 of that cost doing the brakes and suspension. Not to mention when you order your car and you want red calipers (which I want) it's an additional $500. When you buy parts, all colors cost the same.

LOL,, I'm going for low visibility and want to blend in like a Honda Accord this time. That said, I really loved the Torch Red color, once that side molding was painted it looked like a 488 Ferrari. Just to high visibility for this time I'm afraid.

Should look like this, less rear wing.

I'm with you. I like the molding white much more.

However, I would go maybe just grey or black on the rotors. Red REALLY stands out with the white. Just me of course.

I have never been a vette guy, but that is nice looking. All the new ones I've seen have like a wishbone vent molding?

That's the Z06 and E-Ray (which shares the Z06's wide body).

Yes,, they all have that moulding on the side vents. The Z06 has one as well but shaped a bit different. To me it destroys the body lines.

As for the red calipers, aways wanted them and never had them. I'll also say they're a bit overplayed. Don't know if you ever saw 'Birdcage' but this sums up my thoughts LOL!!!

Birdcage is one of my favorite movies. Classic.

I like the softer moldings, hate the wishbone.

How is the trunk room?

I'm thinking of getting rid of the Lotus. Looking at good and cool trip cars, and Chevy support everywhere.

Well trunk room is a bit of an issue. The Frunk A.K.A. front trunk will hold a carryon bag and maybe one personal item in a soft bag on top. They say the rear will hold two golf bags. Frankley I can't speak about golf bags there is a storage area the width of the car maybe 20" wide 24" deep.

I used to travel for a week on business with a carry on. Figure man in the front with one, woman in the back with two.

As a sidebar, always wanted a Lotus. C. Chapman was dam near a genius as best as I can tell.

How is passenger comfort? Does it have dual temp control? Anything about the interior you don't like? How it the square steering wheel?

I really like the white LT1.

Steering wheel is fine, yes dual zone AC, skinniest AC vents I ever saw. The dash is configurable to a degree so that's good. Although I don't like some of it and the right-hand side is useless information as far as I'm concerned. I'm not super crazy with that row of AC switches in the center console. It's a bit weird on the passenger side as it's so tall and cuts off the center console a bit. Rear view mirror is a bit limited, but I understand 2024 switches to a camera one across all models. In the eariler higher optioned cars it does have the camera mirror.

Yea, I had to reluctantly take the C7 and the C8 off my "next adventure" list because the passenger sides are just not a comfortable place to be and MomHawk and I always use my car for roadtrips that don't require the Suburban (mainly because I end up driving and she ends up sleeping )
