Custom made louvers
Just posted this in my Journal. See details there.
I have yet to have a heat issue, but I haven't done a really hot day at the track either. I do have the long tube Nameless headers and want to get some of their added heat out. BTW, that's just my "street splitter" and street gargoyle that's on the car.

So I have stuck to just doing a handful of laps then coming in to let things cool down. I am hoping this saves me from the need to update coils and major cooling updates. I will be switching my coils and harness if my method doesn't work lol

I actually like it a lot. It matches my viper hood vents https://www.viperpartsusa.com/wp-con...451-003-00.jpg

To visualize, compare the surface area of the inlet (front bumper opening), to the outlet. To put this in perspective, the outlet is MUCH larger for the aux radiators, than inlets, on most German cars. By increasing area appropriately, you're reducing pressure differential, because you're simply flowing more. High pressure through a coffee stirer, vs low pressure through a Mcdonalds straw. Which flows more? |

sure, I get cross section, but those don't look like they're much less than my vents. Or I'm just misremembering my vents.
