Lol. I didn't plan on it. I couldn't understand why changing the lower oil pan would make that dudes dipstick read inaccurately.

Same concept as adding an oil cooler, for example, more volume to fill, so you need more...volume? lol you get it.

I struggled to believe that person thought they could get away putting stock oil amounts in with a larger oil pan. ��

I have a turbo, an oil cooler, and will have the FBM pan. So i will have quite a bit more oil required. Lol

I can confirm that this pan is causing issues with oil backing up into the turbo due to not draining correctly. I filled my car with oil until it read dead center between the 2 dots on the dipstick, and when I removed the turbo drain line from the pan (to diagnose my excessive exhaust smoking and oil in the downpipe) over a quart came gushing out. The return hole on the pan, when the car is filled to satisfy the dipstick, is BELOW the oil line. The dipstick reading is no longer accurate with this pan when using the return port. I ran a supercharger for 4 years with this pan with no issues but that's because Rotrex superchargers dont use engine oil so I never had this problem.

Pardon if this is asked and answered somewhere, but I haven't had and luck finding it..
Will this pan fit with Tomei EL header? The header sits fairly close to the pan, and looks like it might hit where this pan is larger than OEM..

also, would some heat shielding between the header and pan be beneficial? the pan itself is designed to shed heat from the oil, but that doesn't help if it's being cooked by a header!
