Adding second light to trunk
I constantly have things in my trunk and since the light is only on one side, it is often blocked and I can't see the right half of the my trunk.
My solution is to buy the light housing and install it in the same position on the right side. My issue is I can't find the connector that plugs into the housing online and Subaru only sells the entire harness. I pulled mine out and all it says is A2 on it. I've done extensive searching and can't find this anywhere. Does anyone have any insight or more information on this connector? I want to do this clean and using the factory connector is the only way to do that. |

Just order that and be blown away with all the light you'll get. Multiple times more than two factory lights would get. It mounts up and out if the way and if you ever have to remove it you just unplug it and put the old bulb in. It doesn't have to look factory since nobody, even you, will see it unless they stick their head in the trunk and look up. I used the second one for the dome light and it's a little much but if you like bright light that's the way to get there. |

A diode dynamics flex light works well in my trunk, it puts out so much light even when something is blocking the strip.

Get the flex light for $15 from here: https://www.diodedynamics.com/trunk-...ubaru-brz.html
This is what it did for me. It's a long LED strip with a sticky backing that you can adhere to the ridge running across the interior of the trunk up top. Benefit to an LED strip is that any one item is unlikely to block all of the light, since it's like over a foot long.
