The best way to describe it is the car feels stock...lol. I mean that in the best way possible.

The biggest performance indicator was my top speeds on the front straight and even the portion of the back straight that is incorporated in Grand Course layout. From what I remember, I used to see around 116mph on the front straight prior to boosting. The Edelbrock kit had me up to 130mph

Another segment of the track where I noticed increased speeds was at the entry of the climbing esses. In NA form, I could simply just maintain my entry speed into the esses which was right around 98mph. With the Edelbrock kit I was able to reach around 112 leading into the esses, requiring a small amount of let off/braking to get back down to a speed at which I could take them.

Oak tree was definitely a good turn to feeling the power difference as well. Like you mentioned, exiting that turn around 50mph and flooring it NA, the car is an absolute slug. However, it accelerated pretty nicely now coming out of Oak tree, and it was less of a hassle to pass with the added power.

Everything about this kit says it's 'the one'. Quality, performance, price, US made, least amount of 'molestering' to your car to install and a warranty to boot. How could you go wrong?

Now, *checks wallet*, how often can you donate plasma for money?
I think there's a kit at CSG calling your name

What if I told you Edelbrock has made SC's for Harrop in the past?...

Stock is actually the best description we could hope for! This chassis begs for nice linear power delivery to stay poised and nimble.

Wow! That's impressive! Forgive me for not knowing your setup but what brakes are you running? How did they hold up to the additional momentum?

Yep, if you nail the left hander before the bridge it's point & click. Nice approach speed. For people that don't know, the 4mph might not seem like a lot but there's not a terrible amount of runway at that speed.

This is all great news! Especially the passing bit. MANY times, unless the person lifts or throws out an anchor (HP dependent), passing on long straights becomes a chore. On the plus side, you get real good at late passing.

Thank you for all your feedback for us track rats. We're all chomping at the bit for some real world experiences with the kit.

Still waiting for track data. Heat soak is the only thing holding me back from spending my bonus on a shiny new SC.

Edit: my bad. it's like 5 posts above mine.

It's not *my* track data, but there was a log posted about a page earlier in this thread by @NotSoJDM.

Thanks, I am running the Stoptech Trophy Front BBK with Carbotech XP8 pads all around, SS Lines and Type200 Fluid.

This was my first time out on the XP8s and they did fantastic. No brake fade at all throughout the day, and they are quiet on the street too =]

Did you notice any intercooler heat soak after a full track session?

Yes, it was pretty evident that heat was retaining the unit after the first session. But overall, it didn't seem to affect my times, and power delivery was still relatively the same.

I don't see any evidence of heat soak in your data...

Hehe, that was actually a joke from October. Had to pay for a ton of house stuff so I used the card with 2% cash back then paid it off. Money back makes part of the car payment 'free'.
But yeah, 'MURICA!
