lol yea there are a few of us around, but it seems in the northeast at least there are not many.

I have owned nothing but Toyota's since my second car (my first car was a Mazda GLC 5-Spd, just the cheapest one I could find out of high school).

Previous Toyotas:

1993 MR2 N/A - Turquoise Pearl (Sold)
1999 Lexus GS300 (Sold)
2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder (Sold)
2007 Scion tC (Current Daily)
1991 Toyota MR2 N/A (project car- Sold)

Planning to sell my Scion tC and get one of the twins soon, in the next month or so.

I know people don't like the tC but in my situation when I bought it, it was good for me...I only buy manual cars (the GS300 was a mistake because it was automatic and I hated that).

Love the car, love the potential for all the improvements. Installed full Aero Kit and the tune is coming at the end of the week. I know, I've been called backwards for starting with the Aero, but hey, that's me. Looking forward to interacting and learning more about this magnificent vehicle.

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum but have read lots of build journals and tech tips on this site,a lot of very knowledgeable people here so I decided to join,this is my first post..my name is craig and I'm from newfoundland,Canada.i just bought a salvage 2013 frs with 30000km's as a project,I know I'm probably going to get hated on for this next comment but I'm a old school mussel car fan(even though I'm only 26 years old),owned a few vette's and mustangs over the years but when the FRS/BRZ came out it was love at first sight,I'm after driving a few and love the feel of the cars.i work at a auto salvage/parts company so I have access to all kinds of damaged vehicles and parts.this FRS come available and I had to have it,I got it for next to nothing and it runs/drives perfectly(only cosmetic/body damage) with a clean title..I also just bought a ls2 and t56 tranny out of a 05 corvette and will be doing the engine swap once I get the car fixed(please don't hate on me for doing this

)..so weapons grade performance will be hearing from me in the near future for their complete ls2 swap kit

..I look forward to using this forum for help/advice and giving it aswell when I can(I also can help with stock frs/BRZ parts if anyone needs them),I will be starting a build journal when I start the swap which will be when I get the car back in shape...I look forward to talking to everyone!
