I have that same front license plate bracket that you have on your frs. It came with it from the dealer. Check the top screws. The one that came on mine were too long and over time ended up lifting up the paint making noticeable holes. What i did was get 6 1/4 washers, 3 for each side, to stick between the license plate and the bracket to move the screws away from the plate so they will no longer rub.

Hi guys from Ontario!

Got my brand new 2015 Halo FR-S 2 weeks ago.

Planning on doing a couple cosmetic mods like headlights and tail lights before doing stuff under the hood!

Yeah I have already removed the front plate and yes the screws were too long and rubbed the paint off. I live in TX and we are required to have front plates. I've been running my truck for years without one though, I think I might take my chances with the FRS too. I don't think it will go to well though, owned it for 2 weeks and already got a speeding ticket

lol already? What did you do to cover the holes in the front grille and to cover up the paint? I want to get the front license plate over to the side because I hate were it's located right now.

Have fun with it bro! be careful with the burnouts and the mad drifts.

Heh I haven't done anything to cover the holes. They are in the lower part of the mesh grill (valiance?) and you can't really see them unless you are looking pretty hard.

I drive like a grandma, it was one of those roads with a speed trap where I was going 3 over. This car is my daily commuter as I drive 80 miles 1 way so the mod list is going to be short - but I do agree, I think I will order the license plate relocate bracket for the OEM tow hook location. Looks pretty good IMO.

I definately agree with that. I havent picked up the relocate yet so I still have the stock bracket on. I really want to find out how to fix them so my front bumper can look clean. I spend wayy too much time making sure every little portion of this car shines

Have you seen these? I used them on my Tacoma before switching to a plate bumper.

Wow! Looking good. Congrats! One of my best friends in the Navy was from Trinidad but he had a 68 Camaro.
