Always said it was hugging me so I guess the Hakone just doesn't love me like the Lava did!

This is probably my biggest complaint with my FR-S, the weak door holding ability. It sounds silly but it is very annoying. Even on the slightest incline it won’t stay open. It seems that Toyota/Subaru finally fixed it.
I will start thinking of it as my car hugging me.

I sometimes like the tractor noises.. the KACHUNK of the transmission at times at low speeds can be satisfying haha.

I like the tractor noises also, it’s amusing. And yes the gear KACHUNK is satisfying as hell.
There are times, like today, when I drive my car and think, I couldn’t be legally having any more fun driving on the street. The weather is getting cooler, my FR-S feels peppier, it’s good stuff.

This conversation made me curious so I went out last night and made sure I was on the most inclined section of my driveway and tried the door. Didn't move at all. They obviously changed something.

Lol I was driving through the center of town the other day and the engine crickets were out in full force. As I passed people walking I was wondering the same thing. Do they think something is wrong with my car? Do they know about the FRS/BRZ crickets? Do they think that I did it on purpose?

On the other hand, I really hope gen 2 has crickets too. It's just a fun quirk IMO.

They most likely think it's just a diesel engine -

That that don't know the car won't notice or care. Those that do know the car may notice but still don't care

I don't think it is that noticeable.

Nothing sounds as broken as a motorcycle with a dry clutch or a slipper clutch. The slipper in my bike sounds like very loud piston slap.

Sound starts at 31 sec,

Why does that type of clutch make that sound?
