so it's definitely looking to be super cold and rainy, and if that's the case, not even gonna try to drive all the way to Cary on Saturday... can work with cold, but rain is a whole other matter

I'm there no matter what. It's only once a month and half the time I have something that keeps me from going so at this point I'll risk it. Let's hope it drops to a 30% chance by Friday night.

Ok, C&C info:
259 New Waverly Pl, Cary, NC 27518

We use two parking lots to accomodate everyone so get there early for a good spot. It would be nice to show up as a group so we get most of us close together. The drive that I heard about I'm not clear on yet. I'll get that info tomorrow.
What time does this thing start? I've never gone to one but Toys for Tots might get my lazy ass out of bed early.

So I just saw this over on the Nasioc Southeast forum:

Quote:
On Saturday December 7th, the Triangle Italians will be hosting our 6th Annual Toy Drive for the Durham Rescue Mission.

This is our opportunity to give the gift of generosity to those much less fortunate than ourselves. With your help, the kids at the Durham Rescue Mission can have a Christmas that most of us take for granted.

The guidelines for a Christmas present are as follows:
- Boys & Girls ages 12 and under
- Please make sure the gift remains unwrapped

Our plan for the morning will be as follows:
- We will meet @ Brier Creek (yes…Brier Creek!) @ Jason’s Deli between 9:30 and 10:00AM
- We will start lining up cars ~10:20 and leave the parking lot around 10:40. I'll be working with the Raleigh Police to get Lumley closed off so we can exit onto 540 as a group.

- Our destination and toy drop-off point this year will be the parking lot @ An Cuisine located at 2800 Renaissance Park Place (intersection of Weston Parkway and Harrison Ave.)

- The Durham Rescue Mission will have their truck there and will have donation receipts available if you need / want one.

** I will bring maps for our drive **

For those in the Cary / Apex / Holly Springs / Fuquay area, we will be meeting @ Leith VW at 8:45AM, departing there around 9:10.

A very sincere "thank you!" to everyone in advance for helping with this toy drive! We look forward to seeing everyone out there! You guys are awesome!
Is this the toys for tots campaign you guys are going with, or is there a separate event going on the same day? Just tell me where and when to be and I'll be there. Thanks!

All I know is that for the Raleigh people, it's all about C&C in Cary...

Since it might actually be decent and around 61 degrees and if the rain isn't just flat out pouring, I might still try to come

I just picked up a toy for the cruise just on case I misunderstood something

I am a bit confused though. For some reason I thought we all were meeting up and doing the cruise for toys for tots and then C&C.
