Might’ve found the issue. Needs some grease. Probably a bleed too to be in the safe side.

Here’s what it usually sounds like. Didn’t do the same thing as yesterday.

I don’t feel any difference in pressure and gear engagement is fine.
That's typical. I thought you felt and heard the bearing wobble while the pedal was at the floor. Grease will help for a while but the fork will need to be replaced or the main socket carefully re-shaped with a dremel.

As long as it keeps working but waiting until hearing it creak means making that shoulder a little taller every time you push the pedal.

Did a bleed and grease. Might need to take the thing apart and clean it really well. Also did a bleed and there was some dark stuff inside the fluid. Very murky.

If I were going to pull the transmission, I'd full monty it and replace the bearing and the fork and the pivot with Verus replacements. Sometime over the summer I'm going to order a fork/pivot/bearing set to add to my "when-not-if" box.

You also wanna change the bearing retainer (#30099AA040). Not often, but those things can cause the bearing to get stuck

on my list as well.

been driving the truck too much lately apparently, took the car out for a drive today, and had a minor freak out for the first 5 miles while i could feel the engine vibrations through the clutch pedal-- same typical vibrations at the gear shift knob...

Intoxicated.
I'm not suggesting this is a bad thing.

it's only bad while hiking in hilly terrain, driving, walking in public, and family events before you're expected to make a large solemn speech.
