Pages after pages of useless information lol. Check 1 fuse. Cures all those symptoms.

4 days without a car and dozens of hunting solutions under the dash all for the simple solution of replacing the Haz fuze in the engine compartment. THANK YOU! No more taking the cable off the battery to turn off the high beams and everything else works fine.

I just had a similar issue when my fender garnish turn signals fell off. Dashboard lights wont turn off, it thinks the highbeams are on, and cant turn on my head lights and turn signals.

Anyone had the same thing happen to them and found the solution?

Help I'm having these exact issues and have tried all that has been mentioned. Has anyone had or fixed this issue before. The last thing I'm gonna try is replacing the light switch on the steering wheel stalk but was wondering if any other information came out. Any helps appreciated for now my damn headlight are on a standalone switch.

but funny thing -- low and high beams won't power on anymore (hence why i had to tow it since I couldnt drive home).

it was about to drain the battery since it won't shut off. i pulled and put NEW fuses in even.

only thing i can think of is the aftermarket hyperblink relay + switchback leds shorted something and now the car's electrical is freaking.

i do have HID -- i took them off and put stock back on -- still nada.

let it sit with battery disconnected --- it would then be fine but as soon as i started the car again --- same, the alert alarm beep like i left the lights on and tried locking it and walking away and not being able to turn on low beams.

Did you try replacing the haz light fuse as mentioned? If out that have you swapped out the BCU? Did it happen when you put in aftermarket lights?

For future readers: just had this exact issue. Hazard fuse in the under hood fuse box was blown. Replaced fuse, everything is good now. Craziest symptoms I've ever heard of. But it is what it is. Check your fuse, it's 15amp

Bigger question is why did the fuse blow in the first place?
Fuses don't usually blow for no reason.

Testing blinker connecter for a lighting install. Used a multimeter. I was informed by a mechanic friend that the multimeter can pull extra amperage, unlike a test light. So it seems that any increased load in the blinker system can pop this fuse and cause the craziest symptoms. So I'm my case, improper testing technique blew the fuse

That is exactly OPPOSITE of what is true.

A voltage meter is the correct tool to test modern vehicle circuits, NOT a test light.
