Hello

"I remember that im usging google translator, sorry"

I will rate my experience with this system.

I installed this audio system a year and a half ago.

- 5 stars
Sound quality and balance in all musical genres especially epic / trailer music, soul and rock very good at decent volume levels. In some genres and especially some artists it lacks a bit of that bass that gives more base to a double pedal rhythm, although this would not say that it is a specific problem of OEM audio (black, death, grindcore metal etc).

- 5 stars
Customer service (at first), very friendly, competent and quick to respond. No complaints.

- 5 stars
Installation now are ok.

- 5 Stars
Customer service after a year and a half.

I edit the last review.

After a few months I decided to send the amplifier to technical service, for whatever reason they could not replicate the device I had at high volume. They sent me another totally new amp with a connector for my old wiring, because something must have gone wrong or I did wrong and the amp burned out. I quickly commented on my problem and how could it be otherwise they helped me as much as possible, because in the end after waiting a few months I received new wiring with another totally new amplifier. I honestly have to say that few companies have that detail with the client and I totally appreciate it.

Thank you so much OEM audio team.

oem audio+ is abysmal to deal with on the phone, very cryptic and arrogant so I am here to ask the same question looking for a clear answer can an OEM audio+ kit from a 13-14 frs (13-16 frs/86/brz without touch screen) work with a 17+ car? Specifically a 2020 with touch screen and backup camera.

it ought to. the speaker/amp wiring is a separate harness from the backup camera stuff.

that's what I'm thinking and I couldn't dig up any reason it would not... but I also could not find confirmation that yes it definitely works.. hoping to dig up someone here who's used an old kit in a newer car lol

I’m having a problem that popped up. All of the speakers are making a static sound like I am listening to a radio station with poor reception, and it gets worse the louder the volume. At low volume it isn’t there, but at medium to high volume it is progressively worse. I don’t know if it is the ground because the bolt came loose or where to start looking. Any help?

generally a connection/power problem that usually causes symptoms like that.

so best-first troubleshooting is to check/re-seat connections.

So I was thinking it was probably a headunit connection, so I took the headunit out and unplugged and plugged in wires, and I jiggled things around, but nothing worked or made a difference. I guess I will take apart the side plastic molding to get to the ground, and I will try to double check on the connections to the amp/subwoofer, but outside of that, I don't know what else it could be. I have a lot of small vibrations because of my engine swap, so I am wondering if something came loose, but I don't want to tear apart the car if someone has had the same experience.

You're in that realm of major modifications to the car that most of us have not stepped into, but we'll try to help as best we can:

1) I believe you replaced your ECU with an aftermarket unit, correct? Where did that get mounted, and did you use shielded cables?

2) Is it possible that ignition noise could be the cause?

3) Any new circuits run from the front of the car along the driver's side in parallel with the signal wires from the head unit to the stock amplifier?

So everything was working fine at one point. I disconnected the Haltech and nothing changes, as the Haltech is only for the engine. I’ve been working on the car often, so I couldn’t really say, but it happened after I installed an oil pressure sensor. All of the wires pin into the Haltech and not anything else. It could just be coincidence that the symptoms started near this time, but I ran a wire parallel to the power wire of the OEM Audio system that runs along the firewall. It went into the passenger side engine harness grommet into the cabin and to the Haltech. Nothing too odd or anything.

Let's try to narrow it down a bit more:

1) Does the noise appear when the key switch is in ACC position?

2) Does the noise appear when the key switch is in the ON position, with the engine NOT running?

3) Does the noise appear when the key switch is in the ON position, while the engine IS running?
