Well, summer is officially over in southern Ontario. Over the last few weeks, I went out and took some pictures with my new 35mm f2.8 before I parked the car for the winter.

Last shot before being parked.

Overall, I'm happy with how the car has transformed over the past few years. The goal was always an OEM+ set up and I think I have accomplished that. So when someone says 'pfft it looks stock..' I take that as a compliment, not an insult .

Of course, I'd like more power. I'm just not 100% ready to commit the kind of money required to make this car reliable if it was boosted. Especially with the USD to CAD exchange rate being absolutely terrible right now. I'm sure I could cut corners and run a non intercooled s/c, or no oil cooler, but I know I'd be worried to drive it hard.
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the pictures !

Your car is one of my favorites on this forum. Love the focus on an understated look. I'm honestly a little bit jealous of your car's stance with just the wheels/tires & RCE springs (especially in pictures 1 and 5). I wish mine looked that good. Also, making me think about painting my car GT Silver Metallic or something someday, lol. Keep it up.

Have you had to do any "maintenance" to the spoiler? Had a mustang with a duck tail that I had to be pretty much retaped every season as it would start to peel up at the edges.

Was the LCA necessary to get s proper alignment with the rce yellows and camber bolt? Wondering if I can forgo it and still align it properly? Guess camber and or toe would be the concerns?

In the front, I maxed out the Whiteline camber bolts and saw roughly -1.8 degrees of camber.

You wont be able to align the rears with out some sort of LCA (or a bushing) since its not possible with the factory set up. You can adjust the toe with factory toe arms. IIRC you will see about -1.7 to -2.0 degrees of camber in the rear with just the drop.

SPC makes an affordable set of lower control arms which comes with toe arms which should give you more than enough flexibility in terms of alignment specs.

Follow question about the spoiler: did you drill holes and bolt it on in addition to using the double sided tape? Also did you get an actual OEM part or one similar?

Its an aftermarket one. I think I picked it up for 100 bucks from a 'vendor' on Kijiji (our version of craigslist). Its not perfect, but from 5' away, you cant see any imperfections. Also there is threaded holes in the spoiler if I wanted to drill it, however I decided the use 3M double sided tape. Over a year on the car and no issues at all.

Got bored of the q300, and wanted to let the inner ricer come out so I went back to the single exhaust. Since I didn't want to piss off my entire neighbourhood, I did have an extra resonator added to the midpipe.

I also followed the steps that @steve99 posted to help quiet the cold start. I have to admit, I'm shocked at how much of a difference it made. Even with a the catless fp on the car. I'll post a video later.

I did put the stock fp back on, entirely because of the smell of exhaust fumes was getting annoying.

Yesterday was an extremely warm (19c) day for my area in February so naturally, I went out for a drive.
